What information do we gather on our site?
If you register as a candidate with Testudo Recruit or you apply for a position, we may gather the following information for compliance:
- Your personal details (name, DOB and a form of ID)
- Your contact information (address, phone, e-mail and Skype)
- Your professional history/CV
- Additionally, we may conduct periodic surveys of our user base, requesting a wider range of demographic information. Users will always have the option to opt-out of these surveys.
Who is collecting the information?
All data collection and storage is done in-house by Testudo Recruit Limited, and our website hosts 123-reg Ltd which has no access to our database records.
With whom is my information shared?
We do not sell, rent, share, trade or give away any of your personal information to any third parties. However, with permission from the candidate, we will forward relevant candidate details to prospective employers, who are clients of Testudo Recruit.
We will never disclose our clients or candidates identities but we do obtain permission from every candidate prior to their listing. We do with hold the right to chose who we work with and list for our clients and only our clients review (no recruitment or employment agencies). if information is disclosed by us to a client, it is done in the strict confidence and private.
Will I get junk mail from 3rd parties?
If you are a registered user, under normal circumstances you will receive occasional e-mails asking you if you are still seeking employment and be asked to complete occasional marketing surveys for Testudo Recruit. You may 'opt-out' of these services.
If you subscribed to our sign up you will also receive e-mails advising you of vacancies or candidates available that match your tailored requirements as frequently as you require. Your personal e-mail address will not be given out to third parties without your prior permission.
What are my choices regarding use of my information?
There is a minimum level of information required to facilitate job searches or registration, if you send your CV to us via email we will expect relevant information listed above. Any secondary communications or requests for additional information (surveys, promotions, etc.) will be optional (i.e. you may choose simply not to respond or participate or opt out of being contacted by e-mail from the outset).
How can I update or correct my information?
All users may edit any or all of their information from our database at any time by contacting a member of the Testudo team by simply using the contact us information number or email, unless you have a specific consultant you like to deal with.
How will I know of any changes in your privacy policy?
If there is any change in our Privacy Policy, we will notify users by way of a note on our home page.
Is the Testudorecruit.com website secure?
Testudo Recruit is committed to the security of customer information and we have security procedures in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of information under Testudo's control.
The only people who can currently access your details are our team of recruitment consultants and our technical partners. We do not allow any third party access to your personal information without your express permission. If we did so we would break the regulations of the Data Protection Act.
