Operations Manager


Job Description

Testudo are working in partnership with a leading estates management business to recruit an Operations Manager to manage the facilities and maintenance services to a private finance initiative (PFI) portfolio of buildings.

About the Role
You will be responsible for the management of maintenance contractors, the overall building management, and reporting weekly and monthly to private equity partners of a portfolio of buildings in London. The maintain task involved in this Operations Role is to understand facilities management and the contractors performance against SLA's or KPI's with a strong focus on health and safety procedures and implementing new projects. Working within a managing agent type capacity, you will need to be the middle person to multiple key stakeholders including government and public sector bodies.

The Ideal Candidate
The Operations Manager will be ideally from a operational facilities management background within client-side or outsourced provider and must be able to demonstrate strong sub-contractor management, be able to clearly explain how they have improved facilities services and how they implemented the changes. Knowledge of hard facilities services would be ideal, qualified within health & safety (minimum of an IOSH or NEBOSH), and have an understanding of private finance agreements.

To summarise, the ideal candidate will have:

  • 5 Years of Facilities Management Experience
  • Qualified within Health & Safety
  • Stakeholder management with a focus on managing supplier performance
  • Analytical mind for numbers and budgets (managing budgets not necessary)
  • Strong administrative skills

Whats On Offer
This business is offering to accommodate further education to diploma or degree/masters standard, an allowance to support with business demands and salary up to £32,000 plus potential discretionary bonus.
