Testudo are working in partnership with a London based support services supplier to recruit a Contract Manager to oversee a regional area of one of their biggest public sector contracts, based in the South of London.

You will be responsible for a region that supplies cleaning, ground maintenance and general maintenance services to public sector contract. You are to be the eyes and ears of the organisation, to work closely with the teams you manage, understanding their challenges and helping them overcome obstacles. You will report on KPI performance, general feedback and present for any customer related complaints. Small budgetary management is in place to help develop the asset and finance skills needed to progress in the company as well as monthly training workshops which with give you skills in finance management, people management and business development.
You will have to have the skills to be a true people person, someone with authenticity and capable of motivating your teams especially when the work can become challenging. A problem solver, with a proven track record of understanding the challenges that you may come across when working in this sector and be able to clearly demonstrate what the best thing to do is. Most importantly, you can expect the customer to play a big part in this role, so to be able to communicate with stakeholders is important, dealing with complaints and general customer service.
To summarise, the ideal candidate will be:
- Management or Supervisor experience
- People orientated management style
- FM or similar sector experience
