Business Development Manager
Testudo are in partnership with a SME Facilities Management provider to recruit a Business Development Manager to play a vital role in the development of new clients based in East Anglia or nationally.
An excellent opportunity for a seasoned business development manager that capable of analysing the existing markets and identifying new markets for development. You will be based nationally, but to report to head office in the North London will be necessary especially when developing early relationships with internal stakeholders. You will be supported by an existing team that will help with existing clients to develop the relationship but you will be expected to spend sometime on site understanding the services that are delivered. Normal wins can range from £100,000 to into millions if you are able to get the right understanding of their target market and customer base.
We are looking for a sales beast, someone who understands how to open new customers, find leads and build relationships, as expected, a proven track record will need to be demonstrated in the interview. A candidate with previous experience managing a team will be advantageous the team will look to expand as the business grows and as you win contracts leaving opportunity for you to make progression into this already growing business. Most exciting part is the commission scheme, designed to attract someone money hungry and results orientated expecting to earn a salary on highly competitive OTE.
To summarise, the successful candidate will have:
- Experience developing new clients in FM market or similar market
- Experienced in the business development and bids process including track record of wins
- You will need to be results orientated and money driven
