A Commercial Analyst with over 5 years experience within a leading UK facilities management provider based just outside of Greater London.
Working within planned and reactive maintenance division of TFM services provider, they support the commercial manager in supplying detailed reports of business costs, identifying opportunities to reduce expenses and negotiate savings with suppliers of materials and equipment. Working closely with the commercial manager they attend site visits and meetings for bids and tenders of new contracts, building relationships with potential clients as well as understanding the needs of their business, ultimately learning the bid process.
Previously they worked in supply chain, working closely with the national contracts team and 3rd parties to negotiate better contract deals with suppliers but also managed the cash flow with debtors on anything with over 60 day payment terms, agreeing payment terms with new suppliers and successfully getting a reduction on prices saving the business over £100K on average per year.
